Place Name: Second Place Contestant Name: MSU/Mankato - The Reporter Entry Title: Playing with fire Entry Credit: Dylan Engel Judge Comment: Interesting photos and some nice detail shots. However, I would have liked to see cutlines for the photos to help tell the story.
Place Name: Third Place Contestant Name: MSU/Mankato - The Reporter Entry Title: Minnesota State gets ready for the 2022 Frozen Four in Boston Entry Credit: Mansoor Ahmad Judge Comment: Interesting angles and mix of close and long shots. Cutlines under the photos would have helped tell the story better.
Competition Comment: Some nice photos here. The biggest thing I noticed was that only one entry had cutlines. Without them, it's tough to tell a story.
Also, what was missing in some entries was having variety in the photos, such as close, long, high, low, etc, rather than just a collection of photos.
