Place Name: First Place Contestant Name: St. Cloud Times Entry Title: SC Times Website Entry Credit: Lisa Schwarz Judge Comment: This website is clean and simple. It delivers the content in a logical, neat manner. Having headshots of the writers with each article is a good practice. This entry also broke up the monotony of the competition as six of the 10 entries are seemingly from the same publication company or sister publications and therefore the same design.

Place Name: Third Place Contestant Name: Rochester - Post-Bulletin Entry Title: Rochester Post Bulletin Entry Credit: Staff Judge Comment: Nice leading crime and courts story. Including both the forward and profile headshots was a nice touch. Nice website layout. I like how the e-reader opens.
Competition Comment: Judging this competition with six of 10 entries in the same layout was difficult. When sister publications have the same layout, it becomes difficult to judge "which one is best." They are all incredibly similar. To these entries, I would suggest that the monotony is broken up by making the sites differ more. The website layout for these six entries is nice and I appreciate how the e-reader opens.
