I was especially drawn into the front page of the Weekender edition. The inside photographer did not disappoint either. The photos and the use of them ad to the visual content of this publication. This staff has a good eye and uses their photography well to go with the stories. Great job here. Keep up the hard work.

I could see the staff here is aware of the visual importance of the newspaper. The photos help to bring a beauty to this paper.
Place Name: Third Place Contestant Name: Fergus Falls - The Daily Journal Entry Title: The Daily Journal Entry Credit: Deb Erickson Judge Comment: It was difficult for me to choose a third place winner, however, this publication seemed to use photography the most out of the remaining contenders for third. I did like the highlightered sports photos and the somewhat larger photos on the front page to draw people in.
