Judge Comment: Very visually appealing ad. The colors used throughout are appropriate to the Thanksgiving ad subject/theme, as well as the advertiser's logo/brand, and are cohesive, but are also used in creative ways to highlight the advertiser's messages throughout the ad space. This differentiation and cohesiveness produces a very effective ad that draws your eyes to key points and makes the reader want to/easily be able to take action towards purchasing. Very well done.

The colors are used cohesively throughout the ad, but in a creative and unique way via the different call-out boxes with key messages from the advertiser. All of this creatives a very effective ad that is aesthetically pleasing, whilst also informative of key points, at a glance. Very well done.
  • Place Name: Third Place
Contestant Name: Alexandria - The Echo Press
    Entry Title: Bon Jos
Entry Credit: Shelly Beaulieu, Peg Day
Judge Comment: Overall the colors are very visually appealing, especially when used in the creative, contrasting ways that they are here. Using the black, red, gray, and white colors from the ad photo in different styles/places within the messaging to make key points is creative and unique. The white space at the bottom greatly compliments all of the other colors being used in key points at the top & bottom of the ad picture. Colors were used in a way to increase effectiveness of the ad by highlighting main call-to-actions for the advertiser, without bogging down the ad space/message with too much color. Well done.
